Collaborative Exercise (Various Members 2008)

Death stings my heart with pain
And blood creeps through my vein
Shining souls give light to the world
Light etched onto us from the creation, begging for realisation
And on the dawn of every tomorrow, comes the slow approach of the end of every sorrow

Author (by line, top to bottom) Joachim, Michelle, Sadnar, Cemal and Sherry.
Written: Writers Association of Grenada March Monthly Meeting 27th, 2008

Talk ain't cheap (Josiah Bayne 2012)

(This is incomplete challenge piece, add a stanza and post it to the facebook group)

We Grenadians like to talk

By the corner
In de shop
Ova rum and water
all gossip hot
Right there is the death of common sense as we know it
and so many are eager to show it
For just 5 minutes of fame
anybody will tell it
I know a couple hustlers who've tried to sell it,
Talk is not cheap.
